A demolition contractor approached High Risk Training Academy (HRTA) after hearing about the organisation’s strong reputation for delivering practical, high-quality training. HRTA had previously worked with another demolition company, and the positive results from that partnership led this client to get in touch.
The company required specialised asbestos training for its workforce, alongside several additional courses to ensure staff met all safety and compliance requirements. With approximately 50 employees located across multiple sites throughout Western Australia, the client needed a training provider that could deliver consistent, high-quality instruction directly at their workplaces.
HRTA’s mobile training model made it possible to reach workers wherever they were operating, ensuring training could be delivered without disrupting project schedules.
HRTA worked closely with the client to understand the nature of their work and the environments in which their teams operate. Rather than delivering generic training, the courses were tailored to reflect the specific tasks, equipment and safety challenges the workers encounter on site.
Over a six-month period, HRTA travelled to multiple locations across Western Australia to train around 50 employees. The training focused on practical, real-world scenarios relevant to demolition and asbestos-related work, while also ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements were met.
Where possible, training sessions were conducted with teams together. This approach allowed workers to learn alongside their colleagues and discuss real site situations they encounter in their day-to-day work.
